Crystal is a powerful, charismatic singer, with an uncanny ability to bring any song she sings to new life. She has been studying music since the age of 4, when she began classical violin training. From there she progressed to singing with the church choir and school chorus, as well as at many community events. Throughout junior and high school, Crystal was involved in every conceivable aspect of music-making, including musical theater, both on stage and in the orchestra pit, playing sax with the concert and marching bands, cello with the orchestra, and singing with the jazz band. Soon she was in demand for commercial jingles and voice-overs as well, and at 16, she formed her first rock band. Crystal's bands were always in high demand on the club scene in Maryland and Virginia, often booking up 6 months or more in advance. In 1998, Crystal was awarded a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, so she relocated to the Boston area and began wowing Northeast audiences.
She was immediately recognized as one of the most talented vocalists in the school, and was soon in demand for student recording projects, including original compositions and jingles. Before long, Crystal was being courted by local groups, and in '99 she joined Kahootz, one of New England's most sought-after party bands, where she showcased her versatility and range. Soon she also began recording regularly for a local karaoke studio (you can sing along with Crystal on many 'Pop Hits Monthly' titles!) and teaching the pop/rock/R&B/gospel vocal technique through Bristol Voice Studios in Boston. Currently, Crystal is living in the Los Angeles area and actively pursuing her solo career.
